Change WhatsApp live location on iPhone

Roam works with WhatsApp on iPhone: WhatsApp reads the location iOS reports, and Roam changes that location. A live location share shows the place you set while it is on. After an iPhone restart the phone goes back to its real location. Roam does not promise WhatsApp cannot tell the location is simulated.

Roam is not affiliated with Apple.

What do other people see in WhatsApp?

People you send a live location to see the place Roam set, for as long as WhatsApp is sharing and Roam is providing that place. They see a live place, not a note that Roam chose it. A restart ends the simulated location.

You can stop a live location at any time under Stop sharing in the chat. If you don't want to share where you are, don't start a live location at all. Don't use a changed live location to mislead someone about where you are when they rely on it.

WhatsApp reads the location iOS gives it. Roam changes that location on the iPhone, with no jailbreak and no computer. A VPN does not do this job: a VPN changes the IP address, not the GPS. The comparison is Does a VPN change your iPhone location?
